That this House welcomes the visit of Mr Tassos Papadopolous, the Chairperson of the European Affairs Committee of the Cyprus House of Representatives, to London, and the meetings he will have with senior Members of the British Parliament as further evidence of the commitment of the Republic of Cyprus to become a member of the European Union; and hope that the membership will commence in 2004.
