Lpg And The Channel Tunnel

EDM number 517 in 2001-02, proposed by Tony Colman on 04/12/2001.

That this House understands that the policy of prohibiting LPG vehicles from travelling through the Channel Tunnel is under review; and, on the basis that such vehicles pose no additional risk to travel through the tunnel, calls upon the Government to take a positive view of the passage of LPG vehicles through the tunnel, provided that they are originally manufactured as such, Powershift funded conversions or conversions up to Powershift standards.
