That this House notes with concern the statements made by representatives of the nuclear power industry that extension of nuclear power can play a part in helping the UK to meet the targets set out in the Kyoto protocols; and believes that existing nuclear power stations should be decommissioned at the end of their economic or technological life and that no further nuclear power stations should be built.
