British National Party Training Camp In Wales
EDM number 358 in 2001-02, proposed by Hywel Williams on 05/11/2001.
That this House is outraged that the British National Party held a training camp for children and young people in the Snowdonia National Park recently, the so-called Camp Excalibur; is disturbed at pictures taken at that training camp of participants undertaking paramilitary-type training, wearing masks and combat style clothing; is concerned at press reports of sites in other parts of Wales being used for training terrorists; and calls on the Government to investigate the use of public spaces and private facilities in Wales for paramilitary training.
