Scottish Executive And The European Union

That this House welcomes and congratulates the Scottish Executive for signing the Political Declaration by the Constitutional Regions of Bavaria, Catalonia, North Rhine-Westphalia, Salzburg, Scotland, Wallonia and Flanders on the 28th May 2001 in Brussels supporting the right for the constitutional regions, as exist for member states, to refer directly to the European Court of Justice when their prerogatives are harmed (Declaration by the Constitutional Regions 28th May 2001).
