Railtrack

EDM number 28 in 2001-02, proposed by Jeremy Corbyn on 22/06/2001.

That this House is appalled at the recent golden handshake of ú1.4m to the former chair of Railtrack believing this to be an insult to the victims of rail accidents, long suffering passengers and ordinary workers on the system; and believes that this era of greed and incompetance should be brought to an end by taking Railtrack into public ownership.

This motion has been signed by a total of 66 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
