That this House congratulates Everton FC on being the first club to enjoy 100 seasons in English football's top division; believes that the unique loyalty of generations of Everton supporters has provided the foundation for this great achievement; calls on the British sports media to recognise this outstanding success; and expects the People's Club to forge ever stronger links with its supporters, to maintain a record in the 21st century consistent with that of the 20th century.
