Turner Prize And The Honourable Member For Pontypridd
EDM number 1851 in 2001-02, proposed by Martyn Jones on 05/11/2002.
That this House concurs with the recent remarks of the honourable Member for Pontypridd on the quality of shortlisted entries for the 2002 Turner Prize; shares his view that the art establishment in Britain is completely out of touch; and calls on future Turner Prize juries to ensure that shortlists are devoid of entries that resemble bits of building material.
This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs.
