Reforming The Law On Park Homes
EDM number 1837 in 2001-02, proposed by Hilton Dawson on 30/10/2002.
That this House welcomes the publication of the Government Report on the economics of park homes; notes that this completes a process of review which began with the establishment of the park homes working party in 1998; applauds the acknowledgement by Government that 'a minority of residents suffer or feel they could suffer at the hands of rogue operators who flout loopholes in existing legislation'; and urges that good intentions to strengthen the legal framework of park homes living are realised within the forthcoming Queen's Speech.
This motion has been signed by a total of 42 MPs.
