Nuclear Reprocessing

EDM number 179 in 2001-02, proposed by Paul Flynn on 18/07/2001.

That this House congratulates the Energy Minister on his decision to end all nuclear reprocessing at the Dounreay nuclear complex in Caithness; recognises that nuclear reprocessing is an unnecessary, expensive and environmentally harmful industrial activity; and invites the Energy Minister to include a full review of reprocessing at Sellafield in the current energy policy review.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
