Nuclear Accident At Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station
EDM number 177 in 2001-02, proposed by Mike Weir on 18/07/2001.
That this House notes the widespread concern throughout Scotland at the accident at the Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station; is extremely concerned that 12 fuel rods apparently remain unaccounted for and that there appear to have been attempts to cover up the incident; and calls upon the Government to carry out a full and independent inquiry into this potentially catastrophic accident.
