Concorde

EDM number 172 in 2001-02, proposed by Brian H Donohoe on 17/07/2001.

That this House offers its warmest congratulations on today's historic flight by Concorde following the tragic accident in France a year ago; congratulates the two pilots, British Airways' Captain Mike Bannister, and CAA Chief Test Pilot Captain Jock Reid; also congratulates Airbus UK, on whose behalf this verification flight was undertaken; salutes the dedication of engineers and the technology which have enabled this flight and which will ensure the future of this unique Anglo-French aircraft; and looks forward to the successful resumption of normal Concorde services by both British Airways and Air France.

This motion has been signed by a total of 138 MPs, 2 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
