King Arthur And Somerset;amdt. Line 3:
EDM number 1637A2 in 2001-02, proposed by Paul Flynn on 17/07/2002.
leave out from 'England' to end and add 'acknowledges that the location of Camelot is in Caerleon in the City of Newport, as recorded in the Mabinogion, in the History of Kings by Geoffrey of Monmouth in 1140 and the Chronicler Mace in 1155; notes that this was confirmed in modern times by the funding of the excavation of Arthur's Round Table in Caerleon in 1928 by the Loyal Knights of the Round Table of America; and urges the dismissal of spurious claims on the location of Camelot by Steven Spielberg who will discover perfectly authentic locations for his film in the unique reenscape, the beautiful Usk Valley, in the City of Newport and the nearby expanse of the Gwent tundra.'.
This is a ammendment to 1637.
