Tilbury Town Station
EDM number 159 in 2001-02, proposed by Andrew Mackinlay on 17/07/2001.
That this House notes that the management of National Express's subsidiary c2c has failed over a long period to provide adequate facilities for passengers travelling from Tilbury Town to purchase a ticket or alternatively, obtain a permit to travel; considers this is a serious failure and non-compliance with their franchise obligations, as well as being a source of considerable embarrassment and irritation to their customers; and hopes this failure is taken into account when National Express seeks a renewal of this franchise.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
