Noise Action Day

EDM number 1325 in 2001-02, proposed by Bob Russell on 16/05/2002.

That this House notes with concern the increasing number of complaints about noise, often caused by anti-social neighbours; applauds those local authorities who are taking action to deal with the problem; praises the UK Noise Association in promoting the cause of reducing noise; welcomes the launch of Noise Action Day on 22nd May to highlight noise awareness; and calls on the Government to introduce further measures to support local authorities in eliminating noise pollution.
