That this House notes the resounding success of the FA Cup Final and play-offs at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff; further notes the carnival atmosphere enjoyed by fans and the warm welcome extended by the people of Cardiff; and believes that the Millennium Stadium is rapidly becoming the natural home for major football finals; and therefore calls on the English FA to abandon its unnecessary plans to develop a stadium at Wembley.
