That this House congratulates Sheffield Local Education Authority on achieving a transformation in education services as established by the Ofsted report of March 2002; notes that the authority has responded positively to all the recommendations made in the previous report; congratulates the leadership, officers and members for being described in the report as providing good leadership, innovative partnerships, accountability, and clear procedures for decision making; and looks forward to seeing continued improvement in education services in Sheffield.
