New High Speed Rail Link To The North;amdt. Line 10:

EDM number 1150A1 in 2001-02, proposed by John Barrett on 18/04/2002.

at end add 'but notes with concern the recent of SRA official, Stuart Baker, who said that the high speed rail line would not reach Scotland; and believes that such a decision would severely disadvantage rail passengers commuting to and from the west of Scotland and put into jeopardy key elements of the SRA Strategic Plan which seek to increase the capacity of Scotland's railways.'.
