Tax Exemptions For Lpg Conversion

EDM number 1116 in 2001-02, proposed by Simon Thomas on 12/04/2002.

That this House notes that conversion of company cars to LPG is currently treated for tax purposes in the same way as installing a new hi-fi system to a new car; note the need to create incentives for conversion to LPG because of the environmental benefits of using this fuel, particularly with respect to air quality; and calls on the Chancellor to introduce a tax exemption for the cost of converting company cars to LPG.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
