Hans Rausing

EDM number 1114 in 2001-02, proposed by John Cryer on 11/04/2002.

That this House notes with alarm the story in the Guardian newspaper that the richest man in Britain, Hans Rausing, is apparently using tax loopholes to save himself millions of pounds in potential tax liabilities; and calls upon the Government to tighten tax legislation to ensure that wealthy individuals and corporations pay their fair share in tax.

This motion has been signed by a total of 46 MPs.
