Alain Baxter
EDM number 1062 in 2001-02, proposed by Jimmy Wray on 25/03/2002.
That this House condemns the decision by the International Olympics Committee to strip Alain Baxter of his Bronze Olympic Medal; believes that the IOC should distinguish between someone taking medication and a 'drugs cheat'; and furthermore believes that Alain Baxter thoroughly deserves his medal and that the IOC should return it to him at once.
This motion has been signed by a total of 12 MPs.
