A400m

EDM number 1046 in 2001-02, proposed by Lindsay Hoyle on 20/03/2002.

That this House congratulates the German Government on allocating the funding of 5.1 billion euros for its order of the A400M project; congratulates the UK Government on its support for the A400M programme; notes that this announcement will allow the United Kingdom to press ahead with the construction work which will secure and create thousands of jobs in the United Kingdom; and calls on the Government to continue working with its European partners on the A400M project and other joint defence projects which will benefit the United Kingdom aerospace industry.
