That this House welcomes the launch on 20th March of bmibaby, Europe's newest airline, serving nine international destinations from East Midlands airport; congratulates the airline for its record-breaking sales of over 160,000 tickets in seven weeks, confirming its position as the leading no-frills airlines at East Midlands airport; and recognises that bmibaby is meeting a clear demand for low cost air travel in the East Midlands and surrounding regions.
