Hunting Votes And Scottish Honourable Members
EDM number 1034 in 2001-02, proposed by Peter Duncan on 19/03/2002.
That this House notes that 32 honourable Members with constituencies in Scotland saw fit to express their view on hunting in England and Wales when the House divided on 18th March, despite each of them having personally voted for the passing of the Scotland Act 1998 which devolved responsibility for this policy in Scotland to the Scottish Parliament; and urges these members to abstain on future votes on hunting legislation brought forward.
This motion has been signed by a total of 17 MPs.
