EDM number 1007 in 2001-02, proposed by Tom Brake on 14/03/2002.
That this House notes the comments by the Labour Party chairman that 'it would be perfectly appropriate for the (Labour) Party Conference to make the choice about the right way to fund the London Underground'; calls on the Labour Party chairman to conduct a poll of Labour Party members either by means of a postal ballot or through an emergency meeting to enable them to express their views on the funding arrangements; and further calls for this poll to be completed before the closing date of the PPP consultation.
This motion has been signed by a total of 10 MPs.
