Case Of Safiyati Hussaini (No. 2)

That this House notes the continued plight of Safiyati Hussaini, sentenced in Nigeria to execution by stoning for adultery; notes further her claim that she was forced to commit adultery against her will; notes that her appeal will be heard on 18th March; and therefore urges Her Majesty's Government urgently to do all that it can to put pressure on the relevant authorities in Nigeria to prevent this execution taking place.
