Pedestrian Friendly Vehicles
EDM number 7 in 2000-01, proposed by Paul Flynn on 06/12/2000.
That this House notes the European Safety Council's claim that 2,000 lives could be saved annually and 18,000 serious injuries avoided by more 'pedestrian friendly' car fronts; and urges the Government to renew their efforts to ban the macho fashion accessories of bull bars that concentrate and multiply the force of collisions at the level of a child's head and vital organs.
This motion has been signed by a total of 82 MPs.
