Star Wars Consultations

EDM number 628 in 2000-01, proposed by Alan Simpson on 02/05/2001.

That this House welcomes America's decision to consult with its allies before proceeding with their treaty-breaking and internationally destabilising Missile Defence Programme; and urges Her Majesty's Government to consult the US Government in the same terms, over the removal of US spy and navigational bases at Fylingdales and Menwith Hill, should America decide to proceed with the Star Wars folly regardless.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
