Regional Arts Boards
EDM number 620 in 2000-01, proposed by Mark Oaten on 01/05/2001.
That this House welcomes the work of regional arts boards; and calls on Her Majesty's Government to reject changes by the Arts Council to abolish them as this would remove an important tier from arts organisations, depriving them of democratic accountability and a wealth of experience and knowledge in regional areas.
This motion has been signed by a total of 15 MPs.
