Colleges Of Further Education

That this House notes the excellent work carried out by colleges of further education; expresses concern at the erosion of funding to these institutions; notes that some college lecturers have had no pay increase for some years; condemns the threatened redundancies at Oaklands College in St Albans; and calls on the Government to increase funding to this vital sector of education so that colleges of further education can continue to provide lifelong learning to their communities.
