White Paper On Learning Disabilities

That this House joins with Mencap in congratulating the Government on the publication of the first White Paper on learning disability services for 30 years; welcomes plans to modernise and improve health, social care and employment services as a means of promoting independence and social inclusion; and calls for agencies to work together locally and nationally and to actively consult people with learning disabilities regarding choices affecting their lives.
