Montevetro Building
EDM number 464 in 2000-01, proposed by Martin Linton on 20/03/2001.
That this House notes that it is now more than nine months since Lord Rogers' twenty-storey Montevetro building was occupied; regrets that Wandsworth Council and Taylor Woodrow Capital Developments have still failed to reach an agreement on the opening of the Thames pathway in front of the 'glass mountain' on Battersea's riverside; notes that the company is unlikely to be short of money as it is marketing penthouses in the building for ú4.5 million; and considers it high time the company and the council, and if necessary the architect, got together to allow the public access to the riverside path.
