leave out from 'mouth' to end and add 'outbreak; and calls on all political parties to desist from party political opportunism in relation to foot and mouth disease, to work together on behalf of farmers and the many others whose business interests are affected, to focus on the need to end this outbreak and to demonstrate to the world that the UK is able to uphold the democratic processes inherent in British society despite the difficulties brought about by foot and mouth disease.'.
