Telephone Advertisements

That this House regrets the increasing clutter of advertisements in the street, particular the recent introduction of advertisements on telephone boxes; is concerned that such advertisements are not only an eyesore but also a threat to personal safety; and therefore calls upon Her Majesty's Government to give local planning authorities the power to control them.
