Free Tv Licences For All Pensioners

That this House notes that currently all pensioners aged 75 years and over receive free television licences and congratulates the Chancellor on this reform; further notes that while pensioners aged 75 years and over benefit from a saving of Ãº102 a year all other pensioners still pay for a televiion licence; recognises that there are many differing rates of television licences for pensioners; and calls on the Government to introduce free television licences for all pensioners ending all current anomalies ensuring fairness for all pensioners.
