Hull York Medical School;amdt. Line 8:

EDM number 365A1 in 2000-01, proposed by Desmond Turner on 05/03/2001.

at end add 'but, whilst fully supporting the bid from York and Hull, notes that there is also a bid from the Universities of Sussex and Brighton and Brighton NHS trusts, and that this would serve an equally large population centre where there is also no medical school and where healthcare needs improvement; further notes that, to achieve the Government target of 1,000 extra medical school places per year, two new medical schools will be needed; and therefore urges the Government to accept both of these bids.'.

This is a ammendment to 365.
