Charging For Criminal Records Of Volunteers

That this House regrets that charges of Ãº10 per check are to be made on adults working in voluntary organisations with children; and, while recognising that such checks need to be made, calls on the Home Secretary to use his powers under Part V of the Police Act 1997 to waive charges for voluntary organisations which are required to make such checks.
