International Criminal Court (No. 2)

EDM number 925 in 1999-00, proposed by Peter Brand on 05/07/2000.

That this House notes that 17th July is the second anniversary of the adoption of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court; recognises the leading role played by the UK Government in drawing up the treaty; and calls on the Government to introduce the necessary legislation in order that the UK can ratify the Rome Statute before the next general election.
