B & Ce Benefit Schemes

EDM number 823 in 1999-00, proposed by Laura Moffatt on 08/06/2000.

That this House welcomes the stakeholder pension scheme proposed by B&CE Benefit Schemes; notes that B&CE's scheme will provide more than 150,000 construction workers, a key target group, with a stakeholder pension; further notes that B&CE's not-for-profit status means that it will provide its stakeholder pension free of charge for the first five years; and calls on the Government to recognise and endorse B&CE's achievement.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
