That this House welcomes the emphasis in the recently published draft regional planning guidance for the South East on providing sufficient affordable housing to meet need and on encouraging mixed and sustainable communities, and in particular the inclusion of a provisional indicator against which the regional provision of affordable housing can be monitored.
