Westminster Weigh-Ins

EDM number 65 in 1999-00, proposed by Peter L Pike on 22/11/1999.

That this House welcomes the continuation of the weekly weigh-ins held on Tuesday evenings for honourable Members, and Weight Watchers (UK) Ltd's generous decision to make a donation to the British Diabetic Association, which will be calculated in relation to weight lost by participants up to the Christmas recess; recognises that good weight management is a cornerstone of effective diabetes care; and encourages as many honourable Members as possible to support the weigh-ins.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
