That this House urges Barclays Bank to put its decision to close the Norden Branch of Barclays Bank and other branches throughout the country on hold until the co-operative experiment between the Post Office and Barclays Bank in Cornwall has been given time to provide simple retail banking services in village areas using the Post Office as agent.
