Bank Holiday In Wales

That this House notes the overwhelming support in the National Assembly for Wales, and throughout Wales, for 1st March to be made a Bank Holiday in Wales in keeping with the spirit of devolution and to celebrate the dawn of a new political era in Wales; and calls on the Government to support the wishes of the people of Wales and legislate for 1st March to be declared a bank holiday and to commemorate St. David, the Patron Saint of Wales.
