International Mail Centre Langley

EDM number 435 in 1999-00, proposed by Mike Gapes on 28/02/2000.

That this House deplores the decision of the Post Office Board to transfer its international mail operations from Mount Pleasant to a new centre at Langley; notes that the Post Office has ignored the widespread concerns of the existing workforce; and believes it has shown total contempt for the representations made by many honourable Members and a complete lack of concern for the employment impact of this move on workers living in East London.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
