delete all after Eritrean and insert 'and Ethiopian governments have accepted the Organisation of African Unity's peace plan for the resolution of the Ethiopian-Eritrean conflict; notes that negotiations concerning the technical arrangements are at a delicate stage; believes that it is unhelpful, at this critical point in the discussions, for third parties to take sides in the conflict; welcomes the current efforts of the envoys of the OAU, European Union and United States to resolve the inconsistencies between the technical arrangements and the Framework Agreement; recognises that ultimately the international border between Ethiopia and Eritrea will need to be recognised and endorsed by the United Nations but believes that in the meantime, Eritrean forces should withdraw from the territories which they have occupied since their invasion of Ethiopia on 6 May 1998.'.
