That this House recognises that the Henry Watson Music Library in Manchester is one of the most important music libraries in the country: and expresses its deep concern at the proposal by Manchester City Council to disperse the Henry Watson Music Library's holdings among other parts of the Manchester Central Library and perhaps, at the same time, to dispose of some of its valuable holdings.
