That this House considers that the helium balloon at Vauxhall provides good value for the tourist with its panoramic views of the London skyline; notes that, in contrast to the high-tech millennium wheel, it works; considers that it has additional advantages over the wheel in as much as it is aesthetically pleasing and does not blight the landscape of a heritage site; and hopes that the time-limited planning permission for the wheel's existing siting is strictly adhered to and that the clock starts ticking from the time of its erection and not from the commencement of operation.
