That this House congratulates MACA (the Mental After Care Association), the oldest community mental health service in the country, on its 121st birthday; supports its key values based on the understanding that everyone with mental health problems is a unique individual with rights and needs like any other person; commends its aim to improve the quality of life for people with mental health needs and their carers in a way that reflects and respects their individuality; and welcomes the role it continues to play in promoting good mental health policy and innovative practice in partnership with statutory and voluntary sector service organisations.
