Pedal Cyclist Crash Helmets
EDM number 1114 in 1999-00, proposed by Edward O'Hara on 01/11/2000.
That this House, being convinced of the effectiveness of crash helmets worn by pedal cyclists in averting serious head injuries in road accidents, believes that the wearing of crash helmets by pedal cyclists in road traffic should be if not made compulsory then at least strongly encouraged through publicity by the Government.
This motion has been signed by a total of 41 MPs.
