Forest Division Of Sussex Police

That this House congratulates Forest Division of Sussex police for operation MARBLE, resulting in a 44 per cent, reduction in assualts on the streets of Crawley on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights; recognises that by taking proactive action it has achieved a 55 per cent. reduction in serious assaults leading to grievous or actual bodily harm; and recognises that partnership with local authorities to reduce street crime will ensure that communities are safer.
